The Position

This dynamic role calls for a proven team builder with extraordinary customer service skills, and ability to bring out the best talents of our staff members.

The primary goal of the Food and Beverage Service Manager is to ensure that the customer service experience is of the highest level throughout the food and beverage facilities.

The position requires a self motivated professional with excellent problem solving skills and is responsible for front-of-house activities and customer feedback analysis. With excellent management skills the incumbent will lead our outstanding service team to improve customer loyalty and food quality.

Key Responsibilities

* Manages all food and beverage service activities through managers and staff, including staff scheduling and the department budget.
* Ensures all food and beverage offerings are prepared in accordance with predetermined high quality standards and takes advantage of opportunities to improve.
* Organizes food and beverage service for special events and addresses all customer concerns.
* Resolves issues that affect service, quality, efficiency and productivity.
* Assists with and/or undertakes statistical analysis as required. Monitors and processes invoices and expenditures and ensures appropriate stock levels are maintained.
* Provides leadership for front-of-house staff. Manages human resources issues, performance, recruitment, training and safety needs of the department.

What Youll Require

* Minimum 2 years experience in restaurant supervision or an equivalent combination of education and experience
* Proven leadership and customer service skills
* Working knowledge of point of sale systems
* Proven ability to develop and train employees, build relationships and utilize skills of employees most appropriately
* Working knowledge of spreadsheets and word processing
* Ability to work all shifts and flexible hours
