The job of a security guard is to patrol inside and outside the property, identify current or potential problems, fix what can be done. judge the importance of what cannot be addressed immediately and take action based on the types of issues. The employee must also respond to customer calls for service, complete the safety report and, if necessary, ensure attendance at reception.

Status: Full-time

Salary: $68,000 per year plus a signing bonus


Under the supervision of the General Manager, the Sales and Marketing Director is responsible for implementing appropriate marketing and sales strategies to achieve the company’s sales and customer retention goals.


Job Description:

  • Write sales reports and projections.
  • Manage, retain, and prospect a portfolio of corporate companies, SMERF, associations, corporate groups, and travel clients.
  • Provide ongoing support in training and procedures to the sales team.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain a network of contacts.
  • Follow and implement current procedures and policies.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with managers of various operational departments such as reception, reservations, dining, golf, and accounting.
  • Develop effective sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth.
  • Develop marketing plans to promote the company’s products and services.
  • Conduct market and competition analysis to ensure company competitiveness.
  • Establish relationships with key clients and business partners.
  • Participate in defining company objectives and strategic planning.
  • Collaborate with other departments in the company to ensure consistency in communications and sales and marketing initiatives.

  • Knowledge of computer systems such as the Office suite, Hotello, etc.

  • Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in Hotel Management (an asset).


Required Experience:

  • Four (4) to six (6) years of relevant experience in hotel sales.
