We are so thrilled to have been recognized both in 2018 and more recently for 2019 by the BC Hotel Association with a Housekeeping Excellence Award.

Yes, the bulk of the work in most Housekeeping Departments is cleaning; lets not gloss over the fact that Room Attendants clean toilets, sinks, showers, make beds, vacuum kilometers of carpet each day and fold mountains of laundry.

As a Housekeeping Supervisor you are a hands-on leader, running the floors and at times with the Housekeeping Manager.

You are responsible for inspiring the team in their daily duties, supporting their development through quality checks and together as a team, making magical moments for our guests.

You will also have a role amongst the Leadership team wherein you would learn valuable new skills such as scheduling, interviewing, procurement/purchasing; including research, costing and implementation, and try your hand at creating new staff appreciation opportunities whether it be an event or a simple gesture such as a Thank you cookie.

The successful candidate will be passionate about the art of service, they will have an eye for detail, they will be kind and calm, they will be energetic and always willing to put forward positive solutions to the daily challenges.

Previous housekeeping experience is required Previous leadership experience an asset but not required.

Natural leaders would be a shoe in!

Physically able to meet the demands of the position Working knowledge of Maestro, Microsoft Office Suite, and File Maker Pro are assets Must enjoy working evenings, weekends and holidays Must be able to commit 2 years to the position.

Must be authorized to legally work in Canada.
