Process Engineer – Vancouver-based, 75% Global Travel – 6458

My client, a market-leading player in the marine industry, is looking for a Process Engineer to join their team in Vancouver .

This exciting opportunity offers an extensive global travel component (regularly up to 75%).

While years of experience aren’t important, a hands-on approach and get-it-done attitude are essential.

We’re looking for driven individuals looking to join a highly-functional team.

The Process Engineer will develop CAD work, write technical specifications/quotes, and provide design and technical support for the layout of process equipment and mechanical system specifications.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to travel globally.

My client is committed to: Providing room for career growth and development Maintaining a collaborative and motivating work environment What the Process Engineer does: Develop CAD designs and write technical specifications Model combustion processes and develop P&IDs and related lists Provide technical and design support of process equipment and mechanical systems Prepare project and proposal documentation and review for technical accuracy Regularly travel to multiple work sites around the world What is expected of you: 2 years of relevant process design experience within oil and gas or related industries Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology Proficiency with AutoCAD and SolidWorks Experience with industrial plants and/or equipment manufacturing Experience with marine engineering, design and systems an asset Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Mandarin is ideal, but not a requirement.

Ability to travel up to 75% of the time is mandatory (3 weeks out, 1 week home) As this role is an immediate start, currently being based in Vancouver is mandatory.
