Sales Manager to work alongside the DOS for Radisson Kitchener Waterloo and the Courtyard by Marriott Waterloo St.

Jacobs ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSAs a Jr.

Sales Manager, you’ll be passionate about driving revenue and profitability while providing support to hotel team.

You will be primarily responsible for ensuring that revenue goals are achieved or exceeded in the controllable segments by soliciting, developing and closing on agreements.

Manage group SMERF and Catering accounts to maximize business potential Negotiate group business that meets or exceeds hotel revenue goals Create contracts for SMERF, catering accounts and the DOS as needed Consistently book new and repeat business Develop long term business relationships Prepare and conduct on-site inspections Consistently meet and/or exceed sales goals Maintain total and complete sensitivity to customer satisfaction and guests’ needs.

Be knowledgeable of competition and industry developments Prepare weekly and monthly reports, as well as other duties required by the Director of Sales.

Maintain professional attitude and appearance in dealing with all other departments in the hotel.QUALIFICATIONSThe ideal candidate will have at least one to three years of experience in a sales environment or Sales Coordinator with a proven track record of success.
