Under the authority of the Sales Director, the Sales Coordinator’s main function is to assist the Sales Department.

 Task description:

  • Promote and sell hotel products and services to our current customers and by soliciting new customers.
  • Organize site visits and familiarization tours
  • Representing the hotel and the Tidan group at trade shows, events, etc.
  • Identify potential customer markets and qualify them
  • Achieve and exceed sales objectives in line with our action plan
  • Respond to incoming requests for the associative, sports and tours and travel markets.
  • Prepare proposals, contracts etc.
  • Work with the Events Coordinator and make the necessary arrangements to satisfy customers.
  • Maintain client files
  • All other related tasks

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • You are motivated and have a taste for challenges.
  • You know how to manage your priorities and you are organised.
  • You have a keen interest in sales and customer management.
  • You have a professional attitude and enjoy developing relationships with different clients
  • You know the office suite, Outlook, Opera or another PMS
  • Excellent command of the French and English language
  • Have a good knowledge of hotel services
  • You know how to manage the unexpected and find solutions to satisfy the customer.

Training:

  • DEC. (Diploma of Collegial Studies) – Requirement
  • Baccalaureate – Asset

Experiences required:

  • 1 to 2 year(s) of experience and more in sales and/or in event coordination and/or in a tourism business.

 Languages:

  • Bilingualism (French and English) is required in this position because we serve an international clientele.
