Status: Full Time 

Salary : 50 000$ up to 55 000$ per year

Are you passionate about the sales world and have excellent social skills? We are looking for someone like you to fill the position of Tour and Travel Sales Representative. You will actively participate in the hotel’s revitalization and various upcoming projects by developing relationships with our diverse tour and travel and association clients.

Under the authority of the sales and marketing director, the sales manager will be responsible for generating new business and maintaining relationships with current clients, with a focus on corporate and group business. The successful candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.

Job Description:

  • Promote and sell the hotel’s products and services to current clients and by soliciting new clients.
  • Organize site visits and familiarization tours.
  • Represent the hotel and Tidan Group at trade shows, events, etc.
  • Identify potential client markets and qualify them.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets in line with our action plan.
  • Respond to incoming requests for association, sports, and tourism markets.
  • Prepare proposals, contracts, etc.
  • Work with the events coordinator and make necessary arrangements to satisfy clients.
  • Maintain client records.
  • Perform all other related tasks.

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • You are motivated and enjoy taking on challenges.
  • You can manage your priorities and are organized.
  • You have a strong interest in sales and customer management.
  • You have a professional attitude and enjoy developing relationships with different clients.
  • You have knowledge of the Office suite, Outlook, Opera, or another PMS.
  • Excellent command of French and English.
  • Good knowledge of hotel services.
  • You can handle unforeseen situations and find solutions to satisfy the customer.

 

Education:

  • DEC (Diploma of College Studies) – Requirement. Bachelor’s Degree – Asset.

 

Experience:

  • 1 to 2 years or more of experience in sales and/or event coordination and/or in a tourism company.

 

Languages:

  • Bilingualism (French and English) is required in this position as we serve an international clientele.
