Training Manager

This is a Contract position in Pointe-Claire, QC posted August 3, 2022.

We are seeking a Training Manager to join a very well known player in the food and beverage industry!

Full time. Permanent.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to manage all training programs, and provides consistent feedback to improve brand identity;
  • Managing all internal restaurant training programs, including online training modules;
  • Manages in-store training for new restaurants openings;
  • Oversees all training and development from restaurant manager through to restaurant staff positions and assists with the development of restaurant management team members, including District Managers;
  • Trains, coaches, and supports franchisees;
  • Provides Certified Employee Training and certification;
  • Implements and adheres to Health and Safety policies and procedures;
  • Manages all aspects of new franchisee training including training materials, training schedule, coordination of training location, completion of online training modules, inventory training and complete evaluation of franchisee’s training performance and areas requiring follow up from District Manager.

Requirements:

  • Post-Secondary education, in education or hospitality is an asset;
  • 2-3 years of supervisory experience in food service/hospitality industry;
  • Previous training experience is an asset;
  • Strong business acumen, including an understanding of budgets and operating costs;
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines;
  • Excellent understanding of the casual dining industry and restaurant operations;
  • Bilingual (French and English);
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel for extended periods of time.
