Valet – Hotel

This is a Full-time position in Yellowknife, NT posted June 14, 2021.

Position Overview We are in a search for Full-Time and Part-Time Valet drivers for our Hotel client in central Ottawa.

As a Valet, you will be the point of contact for arriving customers, and you must ensure we consistently meet customer and client expectations by providing excellent customer service.

You are the ambassador for the company as well as for the venue.

Provide excellent customer service to high-end clientele and resolve inquiries efficiently and promptly Greet customers in a friendly manner when they arrive on site and assist with their needs including opening vehicle doors, unloading parcels and directing in appropriate direction Issue and collect valet tickets as required Drive customers’ vehicles to and from the designated parking location in a safe and efficient manner avoiding accidents and damages Ensure all parked vehicles are locked and all visible valuables are moved to the trunk Quickly return to the site curb to await the arrival of the next customer vehicle Other duties as assigned What Are the Working Conditions?

Must be able to work alone with minimal supervision Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time Frequent bending, stretching, kneeling, and twisting Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.

What Are We Looking For?

Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills with 1-2 years experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently, in a team, and meet deadlines under pressure Cautious and courteous driver, with a valid class G driver’s licence and clean driving record Ability to drive manual transmission is required Bilingual (English and French) is an asset Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment A strong team player who can work independently with minimal supervision What Will Set You Apart?
