Assistant manager

Les Rôtisseries Au Coq

This is a Full-time position in Montréal, QC posted January 1, 2019.

  • Helps the company meet its objectives in terms of budgets, operations and managing human resources
  • Trains and guides your team effectively and dynamically in order to offer our clients top-quality products and services
  • Ensures the counter service and delivery service are rapid and personalised
  • Ensures that each meal meets the Au Coq standards and makes sure the meals are as ordered
  • Distributes orders to be delivered, and prioritising them by sector

As the manager’s right arm, your post requires keeping tight control on the cleanliness and maintenance of the rotisserie and the delivery vehicle fleet. You will be progressively trained for the administrative tasks of the manager: purchasing, daily and weekly inventories, budgetary forecasts, work schedules, payroll documents, etc.


  • A high school diploma
  • Have at least one year of experience as a manager in the restaurant business or in a rotisserie
  • Excellent spoken French
  • Be a people-person with leadership qualities
  • Be a team player
  • Have a sense of responsibility and take initiative
  • Exhibit good judgement and stress management
