Marketing and Business Development Assistant

Role

The candidate is responsible for providing day-to-day marketing support to professionals and practice groups in both Montréal and Toronto offices for a variety of business development projects with supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the execution of the marketing plan.
  • Assist the Business Development (BD) team with the execution of marketing tasks related to BD initiatives, including but not limited to sponsorships, donations, events, speaking engagements, ticket purchases and memberships.
  • Support the coordination of a variety of internal and external events in the Montréal office, such as booth setup and tear down, registration desk attendance and preparation of collateral material (name tags, place cards, brochures, guest profiles and gifts).
  • Responsible for updating information in Salesforce and maintaining quality control.
  • Manage the inventory, orders and budget of promotional items.
  • Coordinate on-the-ground support for marketing material requests.
  • Responsible for monitoring and responding to the requests in the CRM inbox.
  • Assist the BD coordinators in presentation formatting for quality assurance.
  • Responsible for general administrative tasks for the department including purchase order creation and payment follow-up with the Finance department.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Bilingual
  • Bachelor in marketing, sales and business development
