Job Description

Restaurant General Manager

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a high volume Restaurant Management position and environment with a large team
  • Strong job tenure and 4-5 years of career progression specifically in restaurants
  • Proven record of achieving guests satisfaction and building credibility with guests and staff
  • Smart Serve certification
  • Attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple urgent and critical in a timely manner

Responsibilities:

  • Reports and works with the Director of Operation
  • Creates and pursue opportunities to drive profit and achieves sales/costs targets
  • Ensures every guest receives the utmost quality of service in a friendly environment
  • Enforce health and safety, food safety and sanitation standards
  • Adhere to all policies, procedures, laws and regulations and ensure all licensing is up to date
  • Utilize tools and systems provided by company to upkeep all equipment and cash control standards
  • Develops business plans, strategies, costs control systems and completes inventory and department reports
  • Successfully develops and works with a motivated cohesive team, management and non-management, to achieve goals
  • Staffing duties include recruiting, hiring, scheduling, training, coaching team members via ongoing feedback and performance reviews
  • Active on the floor presence and high level of communication with other departments to ensure thorough completion of operations
  • Proactive in taking on additional responsibilities as required and leads by example
  • Maintains professionalism at all times regardless of the situation
