Learn more atwww.aramark.caReporting to the Food Service Director, the Executive Chef will be responsible for providing leadership in the administration and the management of a consistently high quality food service. The Executive Chef will work in a corporate environment and will be hands on in preparing food.Responsibilities include:Lead and supervise a team of approximately 15-18 employeesEnsure that all food service standards and quality requirements are metMenu planning, ordering and inventoryAll aspects of catering managementHands on food preparation and serving when neededWeekly financial reportingEnsure health & safety regulations are followedEnsure operation’s level of profitability and client satisfactionCorporate marketing & promotions planningTraining and development of employeesAt least five years management experience in a fast paced food service operationChef papers (Red Seal is an asset) and very strong cooking capabilities requiredStrong communication & supervisory skillsGood knowledge of company policies & proceduresGood knowledge of corporate marketing & promotional programsGood computer knowledge (ms word and excel)Experience in menu costing, menu planning and food preparationServsafe training an assetHealth & safety certification an assetDemonstrates strong financial/analytical abilitiesAccommodations for job applicants with disabilities are available upon request.
